About Your Leader

I write philosophy and humor with a slightly maniacal twist…

“He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark.  Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.” – Dr. Evil

Geoff Wilson is a beloved black bear who lived high up in a mighty, eleven feet tall American Holly tree (any vertical distance feels like a sure sign of death when you’ve got an acute fear of heights and plane crashes [they aren’t related, but scary nonetheless] ) and… well… there isn’t much else relevant to say about him here.  He lives out his peaceful bear life eating honey and the occasional picnic basket.  He’s also recently heard that being a “bear” could infer something else which he is not, and is choosing to disregard ever hearing this characteristic.

I’m a self-proclaimed optimist shrouded with realistic rational critique, but recently have realized that critiquing without solutions is no help to anyone.

If you’d like to learn more about the preservation efforts to save Geoff’s natural habitat or submit any wildlife conservation donations, please send an email to forbettergenius@vt.edu.

On another note, that natural sarcastic talent has led me to receive two Versatile Blogger Awards and two Liebster Awards voted on by the public. Okay, more like only four people, shoot me for trying to spin the web the way I prefer. That is the nature of the Lieby’s though (and none of us shall ever refer to anything as Lieby from here on out due to the sheer cringing effect that this word has on the English language that I often take to dangerous ends).

For Better GENiUS

Once again, I obviously spent no time on designing an official logo for this at all.

Well lookie at that, because your second language is sarcasm, much like me, I nominated you for a “lieby” too. Don’t worry, you need not feel obligated to reply. Though, it could be a good cure for that apparent writer’s block you’ve been having!
